Having Bad Company connection issues on 360? Try resetting

Well, that's easy. While it's currently investigating a permanent solution, EA has advised "some" players of the Xbox 360 version of ragtag romp, Battlefield: Bad Company, to turn off their consoles should they experience online connection issues.

Oh, but you need to turn it back on approximately 20 minutes later. Therein lies the trick, an essential step if you're keen on blasting through walls and otherwise enjoying all those hard-earned weapons. We'll let you know once EA has sorted out the problem, like a good company.

Dream on! Guitar Hero: Aerosmith won't accept Rock Band guitars

The Activision peripheral tantrum continues, with the mega-publisher still refusing to allow Rock Band guitar peripherals to operate on its Guitar Hero games, including this week's Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Despite reports to the contrary on a couple forums, when our friendly tipster attempted to use a Rock Band guitar on the Xbox 360 version of GH: Aerosmith he was greeted with the following error: "An unsupported guitar peripheral has been detected. Connect either a Guitar Hero guitar or Xbox 360 controller and press START to continue."

This Wednesday: Soulcalibur still burns on XBLA

OK, so not so much a surprise on the XBLA front this week, since we brought you the rumor last week that Soulcalibur would likely be released soon on the service. (It'll be there this Wednesday for 800 points [$10]). But hey, Schizoid wasn't released like we thought it would be, so that's kind of a surprise, right? Not like, a great one, but a surprise all the same.

In other surprises that won't necessarily have you vibrating with glee, Wits and Wagers will be getting 280 new questions this week for 320 MS points ($4). In case, you know, you played it so many times that you ran out of questions.

AP: The Who coming July 15 to Rock Band

Buried on the 11th paragraph on a story about Rock Band 2, The Associated Press reports this morning that 12 tracks from The Who "ranging from 'My Generation' to 'Who Are You' will release for Rock Band on July 15." Neither of those tracks are from the long-awaited album Who's Next, but at least this is something, right?

Surprise! Rock Band 2 announced

One of gaming's worst-kept secrets is now official: Rock Band 2 is coming. IGN has the scoop and an interview with lead designer Dan Teasdale, who reveals that all the current and future DLC will be compatible with both versions of Rock Band, as well as the same instrument controllers.

While details were scarce, Teasdale said to expect improvements for band and character customization as well as the navigation system and Band World Tour. Citing the current issues with random set lists, Teasdale said, "Nobody wants to play Green Grass and High Tides in their first random set list." Visually, the few images seen show the game has changed very little from its predecessor.

E3 is coming up and we give you the heads up on where to get all your E3 Info. M$ releases a tool to fix the DRM issue... yup we feel the same way... "It's about time!" The 360 Premium to drop to $299.99, Call of Duty World @ War is on its way features they'll include hint toward what might be included in the next installment that Infinity Ward creates, and THQ Says Saints Row 2 will be different than GTA 4. I go ahead and give you my 2 cents. As always I toss in a few stories and be sure to send "Get Well Soon" msgs to Rodder since he decided to be a Vagina and not make this weeks episode, lol. Mega Man 9 confirmed coming to XBLA?

Mega Man 9 was originally revealed via an OFLC ratings board leak, and was listed there as a multiplatform release. But this was taken with a grain of salt as the OFLC has been known to list things as multiplatform which ened up not being so. Now apparently, someone over at arstechnica has gotten thier hands on a Capcom E3 roster list which seems to confirm that the blue bomber will be making his way to all download services, XBLA included. Since Capcom has been relativly good to the Live arcade in the past (Rocketmen, Commando 3, SFII, etc), we think it's safe to say that E3 will bring the official reveal of the 8-bit wonder.

Penny Arcade teases PA Adventures Episode 2

In the latest update at the Penny Arcade website (or just "Penny Arcade" to the kids), Gabe gives the first sneak peak at Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 2. You can see it above, the Hat Spider, whom Gabe notes is "as ferocious as he is fashionable" (note the skull hat). Actual details about Episode 2 aren't given, though Gabe does announce that it will be shown at the Penny Arcade Expo later this year. Fans of Episode One should take note, as if there wasn't already enough reason to attend PAX ....

Rumor: Samsung releasing Xbox 360 TV this Fall

You remember the rumor that hit the interwebs yesterday regarding Microsoft allowing third party manufacturers to incorporate the Xbox 360 in other products? Well, today we bring you yet another rumor that piggybacks the third party manufacturer rumor which ultimately makes it a rumor based on a rumor that can't be confirmed. Confusion aside and simply put, Samsung is rumored to be releasing an Xbox 360 integrated television this Fall.
